Energy company OVO recently conducted a survey around the appetite for sustainable, green energy in the home, and found that over two-thirds of people planning to buy a property in the next two years are actively looking for houses that offer higher energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions. 

To back this up, Rightmove produced the Greener Homes report, which showed that improving a property’s EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating from F to C could increase its overall value by a staggering 15%.
